What?

This is an effort to build a community-centric website and browser plugins to fight fraudulent e-commerce activities, from traditional online shops to online auctions. People will be able to report possible fraudulent activities. After evaluation of such a report by the community, a database record will be created, and people visiting this particiular offer will automagically receive an alert.

Additionally, people will be able to comment on and discuss about sellers and offers.

Our system will be less intrusive, lightweight, and easy to use. All code will be open-sourced, and all services will be free of usage fees, spyware, and adware.

Why?

Already reported a dubiously eBay auction and nothing happened? A collaborative approach might be faster, more fine-grained, and more transparent than any other complaint or security department.
